Fabulous self-service style homes/rooms for rent along the Mississippi River in Wisconsin. The proprietors have done a wonderful job of equipping/decorating these homes. It's like stepping into a Pottery Barn photo shoot. You'll love the attention to detail. Think of staying here as a Bed and Breakfast without the breakfast.
The Joseph Fugina House is a pleasant place to stay. It has comfortable rooms, tasteful décor, and—most important—friendly owners who follow up quickly on any questions. The location does mean you hear highway traffic and freight trains, but they become background soon enough. Fountain City provides easy access to beautiful roads for motorcycle touring, and I hope we return before long.
